Massimiliano Prete's professional journey began at an early age, at 15, when he left his homeland of Puglia for Asti, where he In 2000, with the support of his wife Erica, he managed the PiazzAffari café and pastry shop in Piazza Cavour 21, Saluzzo.
In 2011, under the name Teatro del Gusto, he inaugurated a restaurant-pizzeria that, for 7 years, welcomed locals and tourists In 2014, eager to bring something new to the city, Massimiliano decided to close PiazzAffari to open, in the same fully renovated In 2016, proud of his achievements and determined to continue growing, Chef Prete opened Gusto Madre, a contemporary In February 2024, Prete announced the closure of Gusto Divino, but he did not leave Saluzzo. In October 2024, he opened Sestogusto.

EVENTS & COLLABORATIONS
In 2024, Sestogusto hosted three prestigious events where Prete cooked alongside renowned chefs, including Enrico Crippa During the 2021 editions of Buonissima and ATP, Prete crafted artisanal bread for event dinners hosted by acclaimed chefs In 2020, his pizza was a featured dish at the 2-Michelin-starred "Del Cambio" restaurant by Chef Baronetto.
